Mid Autumn Festival Rescheduled

Due to weather conditions, the Mid-Autumn Festival event scheduled for Friday has been rescheduled to Sunday. Sunday will have clear skies, and the last supermoon of 2023 will rise this week. The two largest planets in our solar system, Jupiter and Saturn, along with the smallest, Mercury, will accompany the moon in the sky. Don’t miss the splendid sight of the Harvest Moon shining alongside these three planets. Under the starry sky, with beautiful lake and a full moon, let’s enjoy this wonderful moment together.

Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival

To celebrate the traditional Chinese festival – #MidAutumnFestival, nine Chinese NPO organizations will jointly host a celebration event on September 29th at Eisenhower Park. Our organizing committee has spent days planning this event, including purchasing floating lanterns so that all the children can receive free water lanterns at the event. They can design their own patterns and send their best wishes by releasing these lanterns on the lake. During the event, there will also be cultural performances, free mooncakes, and many other complimentary gifts. Most importantly, admission is free. We hope you won’t miss this significant traditional cultural event on September 29th. Special thanks to @David Zhang, @Christine Liu, @Derek, and all colleagues for their hard work. We also appreciate the generous sponsorship from Chase Bank, the Jewish Community Center (JCC), and IKEDO Ramen.
